This position will provide support with short and long-range planning, aiding in strategic decision-making as well as operations. - Manage accounts receivable, and payable processes and reconciliation of related accounts
- Develop process documentation and workflows to enhance business efficiency
- Assist with financial compliance and contribute to internal control assessments
- Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing and reviews
- Aid in the audit process by providing necessary analysis and supporting documentation
- Support the adoption and implementation of new IT systems
- Ad hoc duties as needed
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Commerce
- CPA, CFA, MBA preferred
- Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance and/or Accounting
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and forecasting skills including financial statement analysis
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of financial systems and processes
- Confident in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft 365 an asset
- Excellent writing and communication skills
