Job description: Agilus is recruiting for a Financial Analyst in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta. The Treasury Administrator will be instrumental in supporting the Cash Management function by maintaining accurate financial records and enhancing operational efficiency. We are seeking a collaborative team player with a strong attention to detail, who thrives in problem-solving and is comfortable engaging with cross-functional stakeholders to drive effective outcomes Responsibilities A typical day:

• Manage cash application of various methods including preauthorized payment services generated from energy trading software and enterprise resource planning software
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation to identify any issue and coordinate with staff and other departments on the resolution of issues
• Review, recommend, and implement required updates to procedures, reporting, and compliance assessment standards.
• Adhere to all SOX controls in Cash Management
• Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by Manager

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience in various accounting and analyst functions
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Proficient to expert level use of computer software applications including SAP, Excel, and other business tools.
• Seeks to understand end-to-end processes and understands the importance of controls and fraud prevention.
• Ability to manage effectively in a team environment and coordinating multiple tasks in parallel.

Total rewards:

• Mon – Fri – 40 hours per week, Completely onsite
• Calgary downtown office
• Contract until March 01, 2026
