Job description: Our client, a major financial institution, is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst for a long term engagement (Contract) to support a high-impact automation initiative within its Finance Regulatory Reporting (FRR) group. The successful candidate will bring a blend of financial systems expertise, project coordination skills, and hands-on experience in UAT testing and reconciliation.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in IT or finance-related projects, particularly those involving financial instruments and data analysis. They must demonstrate strong proficiency with TM1 (or equivalent EPM systems), PeopleSoft, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Effective stakeholder management and excellent communication abilities are essential. Candidates with a background in banking, finance, or accounting-especially those familiar with regulatory reporting and manual control processes-will be at an advantage. Professional designations such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA are considered assets.Must-Have:
– Minimum 3 years of experience in IT/finance-related projects with exposure to financial instruments and data analysis.
– Strong working knowledge of TM1 (EPM or equivalent) and PeopleSoft platforms.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
– Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive resolution in cross-functional settings.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Nice-to-Have:
– Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
– Background in finance or accounting; experience with regulatory reporting is a plus.
– Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA.

– Lead and support UAT and PIV activities prior to system Go-Live.
– Maintain the FRR issue tracker and coordinate with IT/FSS to resolve issues pre- and post-Go Live.
– Assist in TM1 reconciliation and generate disclosure documentation for alignment with EPM.
– Manage and execute monthly data uploads for regulatory submissions.
– Develop comprehensive user and technical documentation, including control process flows and resolution logs.
– Oversee and monitor user access controls, ensuring regulatory compliance and segregation of duties.
– Execute other assigned tasks from the manager or designated delegate.Qualifications
