We’re seeking a dedicated Financial Coordinator to work with our esteemed client, a leader committed to advancing healthcare in our region.This is a fantastic, permanent opportunity based in Halifax, NS.Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Accounts payable
• Prepare cheques and EFT’s
• Grants processing
• Journal entries
• Account reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports
• Coordinate and assist in planning and attending audit and investment meetings
• Database and records management
• Assist with special projects, events and meetings as required

Skills & Attributes for Success:

• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in similar role, working with detailed spreadsheets, analysis, and/or reconciliations
• Strong MS Excel, Word, Outlook, proficiency
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge and/or processing donations is an asset
• Accuracy and thoroughness in work, with the ability to take accountability
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Team-focus with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships and collaborate with others
