As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our finance department. Here’s some more information about the position:Job DetailsResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting
- Partner with business areas to prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets, providing insightful advice and strategic recommendations to drive financial planning and decision-making.
- Create and deliver variance analysis reports to corporate finance and functional managers, explaining budget to forecast and forecast to actual at the program level.
- Identify trends and anomalies
- Compile and present monthly reports and key information to managers, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Interpret, analyze, and reconcile financial information to support accurate and informed decision-making.
Program Analysis and Contract Review
- Evaluate financial scenarios and offer expert consultation to functional areas.
- Prepare financial reports for various levels of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide insightful analysis on program areas as needed.
- Examine contracts and amendments to verify payments, assess future commitments, and ensure compliance with the signing authority policy.
- Compile and present contractual rights and obligations for inclusion in the year-end annual report and audit.
Financial Advice
- Provide daily financial advice and support to program areas and functional managers, acting as a liaison between the finance department and functional areas.
- Translate complex financial information into clear, easily understandable terms.
- Act as a vital financial business partner for the program areas and corporate finance
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Deliver ad hoc reports or information as requested
Qualifications and skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA – Chartered Professional Accountant
- Minimum 3 years related accounting experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability to work effectively in a changing environment.
- Strong proficiency with the English language, excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office software
