What You’ll Do:As a key member of our Cloud Infrastructure team at Noze, you’ll be instrumental in the development and validation of the firmware stack in our diagnostic devices used in clinical studies. Successful candidates for this role

  • Will be able to maintain our existing IOT firmware stack and add new features as required
  • Will participate in and improve our code reviews, documentation, and brainstorming.
  • Will have a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to explore new approaches.
  • Will have the ability to communicate requirements clearly to a highly multi-disciplinary team.
  • Will be committed to delivering high-quality outputs consistently.
  • Are good at prioritizing task requests from different teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 4 years of industry experience
  • Experience with Internet of Things (IOT) is a must
  • Knowledge and expertise in microcontrollers (ESP/MSP) and their programming is a must
  • Experience with Arduino and rapid prototyping
  • High proficiency with C/C++
  • Experience with git or other repositories, and version control tools
  • FreeRTOS or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Ability to design systems/architectures that can be agnostic to different IOT platforms
  • Ability to review electronics schematics and CAD as needed
  • Ability to implement and enforce engineering best practices: Software design and architecture, code quality, design patterns, unit tests, integration tests, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, mentor team members, contribute to our overall architecture, and help lead the technology forward.
  • Have exceptional troubleshooting skills
  • Have good communication skills
