Job description: Job Description:THE ROLE:Calling all Capital Asset Senior Accountants! Our Edmonton based client is looking for a consultant to come in and support their team for up to a 6-month term.As the Capital Asset Senior Accountant your duties will include:
- Completing month end tasks related to capital – asset expenditures, asset retirements, etc.
- Preparation and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Schedule
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance/trend analysis for capex
ABOUT YOU:You are an experienced Capital Asset Accountant with over 5 years of proven working success in a fixed asset role, exhibiting strong IFRS knowledge. Ideally, you will have a CPA or equivalent accounting designation, but it isn’t a requirement. You are a dedicated professional demonstrating profound expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance/trend analysis for capex, you have proven yourself to be an indispensable asset in any financial team.
