Job description: Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated Forklift Operators for our client in Fort Erie. The ideal candidate will be a certified forklift operator with a proven track record of safe and efficient equipment handling. In addition to operating forklifts, the role involves performing various labor tasks to support warehouse and production activities.This is a 3 month contract, on the day shift, offering $20 per hour.Duties

• Operate forklifts to unload, move and stack products and materials
• Inspecting tools and jigs
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during forklift operations
• Perform manual lifting, carrying, and moving of materials as needed
• Accurately input and update inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, cleaning, and organizing storage areas

Requirements

• Valid forklift operator certification
• Criminal clearance check
• Previous experience operating forklifts and performing general labor tasks
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices related to forklift operation and warehouse environments
• Experience with computers
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail
