About The Role:Join our dynamic team as a Formwork Safety Coordinator and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our Formwork Field Operations personnel. You’ll be at the forefront of our Company Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Program, working hands-on with the formwork workforce to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance. - Work under the day-to-day direction of the project General Foreman and closely with the Safety Manager to ensure proper implementation of the Health & Safety program on-site;
- Conduct regular site-specific orientations, including the collection and filing of safety training documents for all site personnel.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and hazard assessments;
- Perform construction tasks on-site, including basic carpentry work, building site fencing, and general labor related to on-site safety challenges;
- Collaborate with the General Contractor’s Construction Safety Officer to maintain safety standards;
- Lead emergency responses for formwork crews and subcontractors;
- Assist injured workers with treatment and recovery, supporting Graduated Return-to-Work (GRTW) programs;
- Train employees on proper PPE use and safety regulations;
- Lead safety inspections, incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions;
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and corrective measures.

Your dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and supporting your team through clear communication and proactive measures will be crucial for success in this role.Skills and Experience
- Occupational First Aid Level-1 Certificate (with transportation endorsement);
- Intermediate knowledge of Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Legislation;
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Basic general carpentry skills;
- Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools.
