Reporting to the Studio Assistant Coordinators, the Studio Assistant will ensure the ready-to-wear and accessories photoshoot operations run smoothly. Working as part of a multidisciplinary production team that answers to daily studio planning, he/she will be responsible for all aspects of the flow and quality care of items, from the arrival of products to their return to stock. The ideal candidate will ensure proper management and preparation of all products to be styled, contributing and gaining valuable knowledge in different areas of studio production.QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIESMerchandise Management – 100%Assist in receiving and returning products to and from the Distribution CenterTransfer items and log inventory movements in the Warehouse Management SystemIdentify and track daily stock issues (damages, inventory discrepancies, labelling, etc.)Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the styling roomAssist the Stylists by requesting and picking matching products from our onsite mini-warehouseCarefully unpack clothes, shoes and accessoriesPrepare clothing racks for the StylistsEnsure all garments are prepped and photoshoot ready (steam / iron clothes, etc.)Assist the Merchandise Team by tracking all samples for special projects and high traffic launchesWork closely with the Set Coordinators and Producers to ensure photoshoot objectives are attainedSupport the department by performing various studio tasks as requiredREQUIREMENTS1 year of coordination or retail experienceWritten and verbal communication skills in English and FrenchKnowledge of textiles and garment careInterest in fashion, styling and e-commerce photographyProficient in Microsoft Excel and Google SheetsKnowledge of WMS systems, an assetUnderstanding of how warehouse operations, an assetMust be open to work evenings and weekends as requiredAbility to walk 5 km per day with equipment and/or stand for extended periods, when requiredAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull 30 lbsSKILLSStrong problem solving skillsAbility to work in a team as well as autonomouslyGoal oriented, self motivated, and demonstrates a willingness to learnAbility to work within a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task and adapt to changeDetail oriented with strong time management and organizational skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
