These positions will be assigned to work in our group homes in Barrie, working up to 75 hours biweekly.Compensation Package:
- Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $25.32/hour;
- 11 paid Statutory Holidays;

Following the successful completion of probation:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Developmental Service Worker diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker, Nursing, Psychology, etc.) as determined by the employer is required;
- 6 months direct work experience with the Developmental Services Sector;
- Candidates who have a completed Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field must have 2 years full-time work experience directly supporting people;

- Ability to work weekends and holidays;
- Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours;
- A valid class “G” driver’s license and own reliable transportation is required;
Role/Duties:Our Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting. Responsibilities include providing support for personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances.
