Job description: About Our ClientOur client, located in Toronto, is an exciting & dynamic entertainment company and looking for a General Accountant to join their team.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Finance the General Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Responsible for performing daily full cycle accounting duties and maintaining related schedules
- Oversee the corporate credit card program and maintain the related system
- Manage the full cycle accounts payable process
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Assist with budgeting activities
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications
- University/College Degree related to Accounting/Business
- Pursuing a CPA designation is a strong asset
- Experience with NetSuite is an asset
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail in an environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expected salary: $65000 per year
