Salary: $55,000 – $60,000Our client is a successful start up in the technology space seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team. Working with a Senior Accountant and reporting into the Controller, this position will have main responsibilities in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll including:

• daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger
• bank reconciliations, cash reports
• month-end close tasks
• account and inter-company reconciliations
• Assist with collection of required documents for, or creation of schedules for year end audits
• Processing of timesheets for employees and contractors and running complete payroll
• Ad hoc requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, pursuing CPA is preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in full cycle general accounting
• Strong technology and accounting systems skills
• Startup experience is an asset, multi-entity experience preferred
• MS Dynamics experience is an asset
• Strong Excel skills are mandatory (pivot tables, nested if functions, lookups, etc.)
• Attention to detail, organized
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
