Job description: Job Description:Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to join their growing team. This role will be driving the finance and accounting operations, ensuring the financial health and compliance of the company.As a General Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
• Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers
• Preparing GST and more complex reconciliations
• Process expense reports
• Performing data entry
• Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
• Post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience an asset
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and capable of working independently
