This is a temporary position starting August 12th and approximate end date is December 10th. This is a day shift position on a 9/5 shift schedule, working 10 hours per day. Living out allowance and shift travel allowance provided for those residing outside the local area.Responsibilities:Organize and coordinate construction activities on a job siteAssist in the implementation and enforcement of project procedures, schedules, cost controls and reportingRequest and coordinate movement of tools, materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures and lead timesIdentify potential changes to project scope and advises project superintendent of associated impactsAssist in the coordination and planning of projects in a particular construction areaMonitor contractors, trades performance, progress and productivityEnsure construction complies with drawings and specificationsPosition Qualifications:Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol TestProject Management Professional designation would be an asset.Maintenance Management Professional designation would be an asset.Journeyperson ticket / Red seal / Blue seal certification would be an asset.Formal supervisory or management training/certification is an assetMust hold a valid Driver’s License3 year Driver’s Abstract (must be reviewed and approved by site safety team)Common Safety Orientation (CSO)COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTYWith a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.
