The Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Director of Care and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.Job Summary
The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outing
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transfer of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation/Charting

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
• COVID & Flu shot current
• Current vaccinations

Expected salary: $19 – 21 per hour
