Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.Healthcare Professional (RRT/RN – Full Time) Barrie, ONPrimary PurposeThe Long-term care lead is responsible for the growth, maintenance and education with Medigas’ partnered long term care and retirement homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for regular business audits and support to each site to ensure compliance with Medigas protocols and overall equipment use. Promotion of Medigas products and services to partnered sites, including educational in-services to home’s nursing and support staff is an integral part of the job.Key Accountabilities
- Conduct audits of Medigas’ contracted homes
- Conduct respiratory equipment in-service training with various long-term care and retirement partners.
- Organize an achievable schedule to ensure regular audits and visits to each site, regionally.
- Build and maintain high quality partner relationships.
- Perform all job duties in compliance with Safety standards;
- Work with regional sales manager to keep up-to-date contracts and support quarterly meetings and contract negotiations.
- Complete quarterly reports to area sales manager and regional team.
- CPR trainer certification may be required to support business obligations to contracted sites.
QualificationsRequired QualificationsEducation
- Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Registered Nurse with current registration
- LPN/RPN with current registration
Experience
- Minimum 2 years related experience preferred
- Homecare and sales experience an asset
- Experience within Long Term care or Retirement homes considered an asset.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Attention to detail and results oriented
- Able to work under pressure and have strong sense of urgency
- Must possess commitment to client and personal safety
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Clear Driving record/abstract
