Tamatta Mining & Construction is seeking highly skilled Underground Equipment Mechanics for a leading client in the mining industry. If you have extensive underground maintenance experience and are ready for a rewarding fly-in fly-out opportunity, this is your chance!Position: Experienced Underground Equipment Mechanics
Location: Nunavut, with charter flights out of Quebec
Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off

Work with Industry-Leading Equipment: Sandvik UG Scoops, Dumps, Drills (Volvo diesel engines), Maclean Bolters & Support Equipment, Toyota Underground Crew Trucks (People Movers), surface equipment including Transport Trucks, Caterpillar 988 Loaders, Dump Trucks, and Rock TrucksWhat We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an underground equipment mechanic
• Proven track record maintaining and repairing heavy underground machinery
• Strong working knowledge of Sandvik, Maclean, Toyota, and Caterpillar equipment
• Valid Trade Certification (Red Seal or equivalent) in Heavy Duty or Mobile Equipment Mechanics
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues effectively
• Knowledge of underground safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and criminal record check
