After you join the team, we will continue the process of moving you into new roles based on your talents, growth, and interests.The Role:Our Infrastructure/Cloud Analyst is a technical professional responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 services within an Azure cloud environment, including tasks like user administration, security configurations, performance analysis, and resolving technical issues across various Office 365 applications like Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, while leveraging Azure functionalities for optimal cloud management and scalability.The Infrastructure/Cloud Analyst will share responsibilities of day to day operations at the office. This includes assisting and resolving tickets created by end users.This role will be based our Calgary, AB office and is not a remote work opportunity.Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent technical support to our customers in our software
- Support and troubleshoot issues that are both called in and emailed to the Helpdesk team
- Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise
- Escalate critical issues to senior team members
- Responds to both internal and external support requests in a timely manner
- Work on Special Projects as assigned
- Managing cluster health, storage, VDI, CAU and firmware updates
- Manage Windows and Software deployment including daily backups using Veeam/Windows
- Manage VOIP System 3CX
- Install new users using Active Directory and Exchange Management Console and setup workstations, install network cabling etc.
- Tier 2 Analyst keeps users informed about their escalations/incident’s status at agreed intervals
- Tier 2 takes over Incidents which cannot be solved immediately with the means of Tier 1 Systems Analyst
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience maintaining hybrid infrastructures
- Experience with Azure Stack HCI, Hyper-V and Failover Cluster is a must
- Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, 2008-/2012, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Linux Servers
- Ability to troubleshoot within Windows 7/8/10 Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Networking, VLANS, VPNS and Firewalls
- Understanding of windows deployment using WSUS and remote deployment Applications
- Thorough understanding of PC Hardware & Software with a focus on Microsoft Products Knowledge of Hyper-V/VMware
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
