Our Channel Partners and Authorized Service Partners provide coverage and support across Canada.We are looking for an Inside Sales Technical Representative to join our Group. You will provide high-level support for Endress+Hauser product lines to both internal and external customers. This will include ensuring systematic and conscientious customer service throughout the sales cycle. As the main conduit between customers and outside technical sales, you will collaborate with various departments and by consistently following processes, they successfully achieve set process indicator targets.What is the role about?Are you exceptional support for the team? As an Inside Sales Technical Representative, you will provide a high level of National and Regional Support in the sales of Endress+Hauser product lines to both internal and external customers.Do you have the ability to navigate the sales cycle from start to finish? You will ensure systematic and conscientious customer service with a focus on the entirety of the Sales Cycle.Are you able to be a vital connection in our Company? You are the main conduit between Customers and Outside Technical Sales as well as other departmental functions including sales coordinator, logistics, production centres, service, accounting and product management.Join our team and shape the future, one proposal at a time.   • Fielding of all customer inquiries received, with a focus on Sales to further develop Customers requests.
  • Advising the customer on the proper application of Endress+Hauser products
  • Preparation of quotations in a timely manner
  • Follow up of quotations, with a focus on closing of Order
  • Review of customer Purchase Orders prior to Order Processing
  • Preparation of dimensional and wiring drawings as required by the customer
  • Preparation and submission to the customer any other materials requested
  • Gathering input from Supporting Functions/Network ie: Product Management, Application Support, Outside Sales or Service, to fully satisfy the customers’ needs
  • Integration of Campaigns or Sales Initiatives into Sales Workflow and Customer Quote offerings
  • Responsible for meeting Process Indicator (PI’s) expectations for Sales Cycle activities (Quote Follow Up, Initiatives, managing reporting tools for PI’s)

What do we expect from you

  • Post-secondary technical education preferably in instrumentation, process control, automation, or engineering
  • 2-3 year of Inside Sales experience in the Instrumentation field or a similar role is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills to work well with diverse individuals, groups and with internal & external customers.

  • Supports teamwork and team spirit.
  • Ensures that the customer perspective is a driving force behind business decisions and activities.
