Our client in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an Interim General Manager to join their team. This contract role, based in Bedford, NS, offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence in a rapidly growing industry.Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Manage direct reports (project management, finance, administration staff), oversee staff training and development
• Client outreach and new business development
• Opportunity identification, financial modelling, business planning
• Oversee permits and applications
• Coordinate and set up new projects
• Oversee contractors
• Board of directors coordination
• Prepare reports and other operational duties as needed

Experience & Attributes for Success:

• Post-secondary education in business administration, engineering would be an asset
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar management role within the energy sector
• Prior experience in the municipal, government, energy, or utilities sectors and/or project-based environments
• Superior management skills and ability to establish clear leadership
• Confidence with the ability to work effectively in busy, ever-changing environments
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
