Job description: Job Description:This Vancouver based organization are looking for an ambitious Intermediate Accountant to join their Canada-wide team reporting directly into the Controller.In this role your responsibilities will include the following but will not be limited to:

  • Overseeing the general day-to-day accounting function including AP, AR and complex account reconciliations.
  • Preparing journal entries and high volume invoice processing.
  • Assisting with month end tasks including financial statement preparation.
  • Intercompany transfers and weekly transaction processing.
  • GST/HST filing and assisting with internal & external audit.

Requirements:Successful candidates will ideally be pursuing their CPA designation and have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals with a desire to grow and learn.
