Job description: Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with Calgary based company to hire an Intermediate Accountant on a 6 week contract with the potential to go permanent.Benefits & Perks:

• Compensation: $30.00 to $33.00/hour.
• Fully Remote Position.
• Start Date – July 17th
• Strong possibility of going permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve invoices in Concur – vendor name, date, inv #, dimensions (dept, entity, project ID , etc)
• Review and delete duplicates, assign ( mostly are auto assigned) to approvers, follow-up approval of invoices.
• Go over AP inbox for special instructions and respond to inquiries
• Prepare AR templates and upload in accounting systems.
• Prepare EFT/ACH payments.
• Bank reconciliations and analysis, entering journal entries in sage Intacct.
• Balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full cycle accounting.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Responsible and hard working individual.
