Job description: Job Description:We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant for our fast growing client in the forestry industry. The candidate is responsible for managing the billing specialists in the Vancouver Island office.Duties:

• Calculating dividends and commissions for sales/export traders.
• Reconciling inventory and dealing with vendor managed inventory
• Managing a team of 3 billing specialists.
• Creating weekly reports to suppliers overseas.
• Open sales orders
• Cash flow management
• Granting credit

Requirements:Requirements:

• Strong accounting knowledge
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to train and lead a team

Nice to Have:

• CPA designation or close to one preferred.
• Experience leading a small team is a plus
• Experience working for forestry/lumber/logistics industry
