Job description: Job Description:We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will be integral to our clients team, performing various accounting functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process accounts payable and receivable

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage financial data and generate reports

• Regularly update and maintain customer credit records

• Handle payroll for a team of under 100 employees

• Perform accrual accounting tasks as required

• Use Epicor for various accounting functions

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status

• Ensure all accounting activities comply with financial regulations and standards

• Collaborate with team members on financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience in handling Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting

• Proficiency in using Epicor software

• Experience in managing Payroll for under 100 Employees

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Oil and gas industry experience is considered an asset

Expected salary: $60000 – 70000 per year
