Job description: Job Description:Robert Half is excited to partner with our highly esteemed client in their search for an Intermediate Accountant. With a strong focus on positive culture and development, this company is seeking a proactive individual with sharp technical skills and exceptional number-crunching abilities. As an Intermediate Accountant, your responsibilities include everything from reconciling account balances and bank statements to maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. You will have a critical role in identifying financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Conduct account and bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Prepare and record journal entries as needed
- Complete accruals in a timely manner
- Contribute to month-end closing activities
- Assist in the preparation of trial balance
- Aid in the preparation of financial statements
- Improving systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Intermediate Accountant.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and accounting software
- Familiarity with all accounting procedures and principles
- Excellent analytical abilities and ability to present and explain data
