As the Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and supporting key financial processes that ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Business Units assigned to you, accounting functions. Your responsibilities will include:Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Provide insightful analysis that supports decision-making and highlights financial performance trends.

Month-End & Year-End Closing

  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and in compliance with accounting principles.

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations.
  • Support external audits and prepare necessary documentation as required.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational goals.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax authorities, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of inquiries.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:

o A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
o 3-5 years of in a full-cycle accounting or finance role.

  • Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in accounting software with advanced Excel skills.
o Familiarity with a DOS based system is an asset.

  • Key Competencies:

o Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
