Job description: Our client, a respected and well established construction company is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their busy team. You will be pursuing the CPA designation and have 3-5 years progressive experience in accounting.
Those with exposure to Sage software will be given preference.Reporting to the Sr leadership team, your duties will include but not be limited to;

• Perform accounting activities, including preparation of month-end reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist in preparing year-end budgets, audit files, and financial analyses
• Prepare and file GST returns
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reporting records
• Track and manage insurance-related documentation
• Record and post property closings and maintain accounting activities associated with property management leasing portfolio
• Maintain and update asset tracking systems
• Support process and system improvements
• Other duties and cross functional support as required
