• Financial Reporting: Assist the financial controller in preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and timely recording of transactions.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes, including journal entries and analysis to ensure deadlines are met.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections to optimize cash flow.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts to support strategic financial decision-making.
• Variance Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of budget-to-actual variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and liaise with auditors to facilitate external audits.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting.
• Certification: CPA designation in progress is considered a strong asset.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across departments and communicate financial insights effectively.

Expected salary: $70000 – 75000 per year
