Our franchise in Calgary is looking for an Operations Manager to help us continue to build a world-class brand.NOTE: This role is hands-on! The right candidate will be comfortable to lead by example with our field crew by working in the field, getting their hands dirty and breaking a sweat from time to time.Position: Operations Manager
Schedule: Full-Time, including some weekends
Location: Calgary, AB
Compensation: $57 – 62k/year + $10-15k/year bonus potentialThe Operations Manager will be directly responsible for the following goals, plans and key initiatives:
- Work closely with the executive team to develop key company goals for operations, marketing, and profitability
- Exceed weekly, monthly and yearly revenue targets
- Manage the COGS (Labour, Fuel and Dump costs)
- Lead a team of field crew members to achieve manageable goals set for them
- Work with field crew members as needed
- Oversee training and help to develop employee’s professional skills in areas such as sales, marketing, customer service, profitability, and safety
- Ensure high-quality execution, monitoring customer satisfaction, and proactively addressing any issues that arise
- Complete staffing tasks including recruiting, hiring, training, retention and staff scheduling
- Oversee relationships with customers, realtors, property managers and other service companies within the target markets to increase sales, measure the return/effectiveness of these activities
- Develop and execute monthly brand visibility and neighborhood marketing plans
- Maintain local commercial sales and business relationships throughout the region
- Maintain fleet, including inspections, regular maintenance, and required fixes in a cost-effective manner
- Maintain all information and operational details
- Oversee administrative duties; payroll, expenses, invoicing, accounts receivable/payable
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
- Perform office responsibilities; purchasing of supplies and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Drive and continuously develop a positive culture among the field staff
Requirements:
- Relevant education and experience
- 2+ years experience in a senior leadership role conducting similar duties
- 2+ years experience in sales, marketing, administration, operations, and human resources
- 2+ years experience leading and motivating teams to achieve exceptional customer experiences
- A positive and uplifting attitude with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Strong desire to help others excel and meet weekly goals
- Active & Energetic; enjoys physical work, able to jump in and get your hands dirty, when needed
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
