Job description: We are currently hiring for a Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer role located in Waterloo. This is a contract position 3-6 months in length.Job Duties:
– Design, execute and validate test plans/cases in TestRail to ensure software meets requirements
– Develop and maintain comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect logs and result records, ensuring consistency, accuracy and traceability throughout the software cycle
– Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to clarify requirements, raise potential risks, communicate test outcomes effectively and accelerate the resolution of issuesQualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
– 2 years of QA and software testing experience
– knowledge/experience of Jira, Azure DevOps, Postman, Charles/Fiddler, Appium, Playwright is requiredWage ranges from $26-30/hour for the right candidate.Applicants who meet the criteria will be contacted for next steps.
