• Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable invoice processing, bank payments, and journal entries.
• Perform monthly financial close functions.
• Reconcile a subset of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare sales tax filings including GST/HST, SUT and VAT.
• Assist with monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances to budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Assist with the implementation and application of required internal controls.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of regular reporting processes to support operations.
• Participate in the external audit process.
• Special projects as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• 1-2 years of practical work experience in a similar role;
• IFRS experience is preferred;
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience is a must;
• Knowledge of Great Plains is a plus;
• Previous exposure to multi-currency transactions;
• High attention to accuracy and detail in working processes and reports;
• Able to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment;
• Friendly and able to work with staff across all departments;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
