Job description: LabourerDawson City, YTWildstone is a self-performing general contractor that provides a wide range of construction services across the Territories and Western Canada. We have been active in Dawson for the past 8 years and have completed projects such as the Tr’ondek Hwech’in Men’s Shelter, the Sawmill, and upgrades to the Robert Service School.At present, Wildstone is working on three exciting projects in Dawson: the Tr’ondek Hwech’in Elders Centre, the Yukon Housing 34-unit apartment building and the new Dawson Recreation Centre.We are looking for Labourers to join the team in the Dawson City area. This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for anyone interested in exploring a career in Construction! Apprenticeship opportunities are available.Responsibilities:

• Perform general clean-up on site
• Assist other workers with their tasks as directed
• Review tool storage on site and make sure tools are put in their place
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience working on a construction site in a similar role an asset but not required
• Ability to work well in a team
• Valid certifications or willingness to obtain certifications in WHMIS 2015, Electrical Safety and Level 1 First Aid

Training Opportunities:

• Training on a variety of equipment – Telehandler, Skid Steer, and Boom and Scissor lifts
• Safety training – Fall Protection, Rigging
