Job description: We are looking for a skilled Landscape Construction Technician to join our team. The Landscape Construction Technician involves assisting in the construction and installation of various landscaping features, such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and water features. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Landscape Designer or Project Manager to bring landscape designs to life through hands-on construction work.Key Responsibilities:Assisting with the construction and installation of hardscape elements including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.Installing landscape features such as outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and water features.Operating and maintaining construction tools and equipment.Moving and placing heavy materials such as stones, pavers, and boulders.Following construction plans and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of landscaping designs.Grading and preparing land for construction activities.Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project completion.Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment.Snow RemovalRequirements:Must be able to operate Skid steer, loader is an asset.Proven experience in landscape construction or a related field.Knowledge of construction techniques and materials used in landscaping.Familiarity with operating construction equipment and tools.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Relevant certifications or licenses may be preferred.Education and Certification:– High school diploma or equivalent.– Certification in landscape construction, hardscaping, or a related field may be preferred.Work Environment:The Landscape Construction Technician will work outdoors, performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. This involves heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and working with construction materials.
