Job description: LPC Construction is a high end residential renovation company—kitchens and bathrooms to whole houses—with 16 years of experience in the city. We’re looking to hire a full time carpenter / remodeler to take over managing some of our jobs in the Toronto area. Our sites are in based in the west side of the city, ranging from downtown to Oakville.Job Details:
- Hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday-Friday, with occasional longer days when the project demands it, but no weekend work.
- Since most of our projects are small to mid-sized renovations, with only a few guys on site, your duties will include a lot of hands on work alongside client relations, project planning, and managing the team. You’ll need to be comfortable with things like scheduling sub-trades, and talking through design changes with clients. Site work could include anything you might expect from a residential renovation. We don’t expect you to have experience in everything, but the ability to learn new skills and think on your feet will be important.
- Pay is negotiable but competitive. It depends on the skills and the tools you can bring to the job, and includes a comprehensive benefits package after the probation period.
Requirements:
- A driver’s license and your own vehicle
- Your own tools, at least a basic set but more is better
- 3 years in residential construction, or equivalent experience, ideally with experience managing teams and handling client relations. We’re looking for someone with a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate, coordinate, and plan.
- Good people skills. Our clients often live on-site throughout the renovation, and being able to answer their questions, keep them informed, and just generally put them at ease goes a long way.

Expected salary: $35 – 50 per hour
