Job description: Department: People & Culture (P&C)Reports to: Learning and Development Lead, ARC’OneLocation: New Westminster, BCYour Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: As the Learning and Development Specialist, you will be a key driver in shaping and delivering learning programs across our warehouse and distribution center. You will lead initiatives such as onboarding (Basecamp), leadership development workshops, and MicroPeaks, a microlearning program tailored to the unique needs of our employees. Your role will focus on designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs to support the growth and performance of individuals and teams.You will work closely with the L&D Team and the People & Culture department. Your role will help inspire the personal and professional growth and leadership development of every Arc’teryx team member.This role is primarily based out of our New Westminster office and is open to hybrid remote.Meet Your Future Team:The L&D team is responsible for the warehouse and distribution centre learning experiences at Arc’One, delivered both in-person and online. This team operates in strategic partnership with the business, driving continuous learning and development of people and leadership practices and fostering a culture that generates high-performance teams, strengths-based coaching, and values-based leadership. We work with various cross-functional partners to support organization-wide initiatives.If you were in the Learning and Development Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:· Driving the development, facilitation, and evaluation of training programs, including onboarding (Basecamp), leadership development, and MicroPeaks microlearning workshops· Facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training· Designing and implementing engaging and interactive training materials such as videos, infographics, and quizzes· Administering the learning management system (BIRDu), maintaining training records, databases, and participant registrations· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess training needs and create programs that align with business objectives· Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs using feedback and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement· Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.· Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports the growth of all team membersHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:· Building your skills as a presenter and facilitator through leadership workshops, onboarding programs, and team meetings.· Strengthening the strategic partnership between the L&D team and the broader organization by leveraging tools like Venngage and Vyond.· Developing and presenting data-driven insights through surveys, dashboards, and presentations that highlight the impact of learning programs.· Enhancing your proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Forms), Venngage, Vyond, SharePoint, MS Teams, , and Articulate.Are you our next Learning and Development Specialist?· You have post-secondary education in Education, Learning & Development, or adult education, or equivalent experience· You are highly detail-oriented and ensure accuracy in all aspects of your work· You have a strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and e-learning platforms· You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment· You excel in relationship-building, with a strong service mindset and collaboration skills· You are a highly organized individual with excellent time management abilities· You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences· You demonstrate a growth mindset and view feedback as an opportunity for improvement· You are flexible and adaptable in the face of ambiguity· Your passion for learning is complemented by your love for the outdoors and living an active lifestyle \n\n$69,000 – $86,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is $69,000 – $86,000 CAD at the time of this posting.
