To learn more about the Government of Alberta finance community and how you can make a positive difference in the lives of Albertans, we encourage you to visit our for more information.Role ResponsibilitiesThis position provides essential support to the Loans to Local Authorities program and to ministries and Agencies, Boards and Commissions (ABCs) that rely on banking products and services. The program manages approximately $14.4 billion in outstanding loans across about 2,600 individual loans, with an average of more than $1 billion in new lending roughly 280 loans issued each year. Given the scale of these operations, attention to detail is critical to reduce risk and maintain accurate records. The role requires a high level of accountability and involves handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.The Loan Officer role is vital in supporting the Loans to Local Authorities program, as well as Banking Operations.
