We have opportunities available across the country!Job DescriptionThe Role:As a Management Trainee, you will progress through our 4-phased program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. You will get to know our customers by growing a sales territory of your own and providing world-class customer service. You will receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates within a region and across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO.Program Outline:Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12-Months) – A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactionsPhase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12-Months) – A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors.Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (15-18 Months) – A focus on business development and sourcing sales, while expanding the customer base and creating stronger partnerships.Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3-Months) – Developing leadership skills, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy for the business.Once you have completed the phases of training, you will be ready to take on the challenge of being a manager at one of our Profit Centre locations!QualificationsIf you have a university degree or college diploma, a positive and results-oriented mindset, and a thirst for continuous growth, you’re the one we’re looking for.
