Job description: Job Description:The Mason Group is recruiting on behalf of a prominent public accounting firm in the Richmond Hill/Markham area. This dynamic firm has experienced fantastic growth over the past several years from organic expansion and key acquisitions. This firm is looking to hire a motivated and service-oriented Manager to develop into a future leader of the firm.The primary responsibilities of this Manager position involve:
- Review financial statements, corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, T5013 Partnership Returns, T3 Trust Returns, T4/T4A/NR4/T5 Information Slips, T5001 Tax Shelter Slips, GST and EHT Returns, ETD calculations, WSIB calculations.
- Review of client engagements files.
- Maintain excellent client relationships.
- Manage multiple engagements.
- Respond to information requests from clients and tax authorities.
- Assist Associates and Senior Associates in planning engagements, preparing budgets, including assessing risk, suggesting procedures and guidance regarding approach.
TMGMSJob Requirements:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- 1-2+ years of experience managing a team of Professionals within the Public Accounting industry.
- Experience with T1, T2, T3 and other tax forms mandatory.
- Strong technical background in Canadian Income Tax.
- Experience with CaseWare, and CCH (Tax Prep) considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
