- Taking a leading role in managing client engagements and growing the global mobility services practice
- Reviewing Canadian and US personal income tax returns, payroll calculations and tax equalizations
- Research, financial modelling, writing and delivering technical tax analyses and recommendations supporting employee relocations
- Proactively providing tax advice and solutions to clients
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members for accuracy and completeness
- Managing and mentoring staff
- Collaborating with colleagues in other service lines and other Grant Thornton member firms
- Monitoring engagement budgets and project milestones
- Contributing to building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice

Here’s a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma
- Relevant accounting designation (e.g. Canadian or US CPA)
- At least 4 year’s experience in cross border/expatriate Canadian and US personal tax
- Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
- Strong focus on exceptional client service and relationships
- Exceptional planning and time management skills, with ability to balance competing demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to successfully work independently and as part of a team
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members
