To learn more about the Government of Alberta finance community and how you can make a positive difference in the lives of Albertans, we encourage you to visit our for more information.Role ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director, Financial Reporting and Operations, the Manager Grants and Procurement is responsible for effectively managing grant, procurement and contract processes for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction by providing leadership, expert advice, guidance and direction related to the development of departmental grant, procurement, and contract strategies, policy and procedures. The position also manages the day-to-day responsibilities of granting, procurement and contracting functions by ensuring the team develops and maintains strong competencies to provide expert advice, guidance and training to departmental staff in adapting, implementing and integrating corporate grant, procurement and contract policies and best practices. In addition, the incumbent maintains procedures for communicating information to departmental staff and key stakeholders regarding ongoing grant, procurement and contract initiatives, policies and processes.Responsibilities include:
