You will be creating special moments for clients each and every day by supporting their care needs, and the caregivers who providing their vital services.The Manager of Clinical Practice is responsible for the delivery of care and service to clients, and ensures compliance with internal and external standards of practice. They coordinate clinical education and in-service activities as requested.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:· Assess or arrange for the initial and ongoing assessment of clients requiring unlicensed care and service as appropriate.· Develop and/or ensure that care plans are available for clients as appropriate; visit clients as required and update care plans as appropriate.· Supervise and support unlicensed employees to ensure compliance with all federal and provincial legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures.· Ensure that all referred client concerns and complaints are satisfactorily addressed and documented in a timely manner.· Assist the Client Service Coordinator in the coordination of services.· Participate in business development as appropriate, and assist with the development of contractual agreements for client care and service as requested.QualificationsCANDIDATES MUST HAVE:· Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing at the RN level.· Current and valid RN registration with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).· Current CPR certification required.· At least three (3) years of work experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a community setting.· Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to clients.· Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format.· Strong leadership skills with a proven record of effectively leading a team.· Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle** Only candidates selected to be moved forward in the recruitment process will be contacted by Bayshore’s Recruitment Team to schedule a conversation.
