Job description: Manager, Project Accounting – Permanent – 17471About the OpportunityOn behalf of a valued client, LRO Staffing is actively recruiting a Manager, Project Accounting.The selected candidate will spearhead the monthly accounting and reporting cycle for exciting development projects and for the company’s corporate entities.This is a compelling opportunity to work with a Canadian development trailblazer with 9 billion in assets under management. Looking for someone with a keen ability to wear whatever hat necessary, in order to advance the collective goals of the team.Duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee team of Project Accountants and Accounting Coordinators
• Develop + maintain financial records for stakeholders
• Monthly closing
• Process full cycle accounts payable
• Financial statement prep
• Budget tracking
• Cash flow management
• Prep compliance filings
• Collaborate with 3rd party accountants on year-end financials

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

• CPA or CMA designation
• 2 years’ experience working in management OR several years working as a Senior Accountant with reports (formal or informal)
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environment
• Strong commitment to professionalism
• Excellent communication skills and interest in collaboration with key stakeholders

About the JobThe client is located centrally in Toronto, ON. Direct access to the subway. This is a full-time permanent position and will require on site effort in the brand-new corporate office.
