If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Manager, Treasury and Collection Management at AGLC.As the Manager, Treasury and Collection Management, you will lead the development and execution of AGLC’s cash management strategy. This includes overseeing cash flow forecasting, optimizing payment processes, managing financial risk, and ensuring compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. You’ll play a key role in supporting the financial health of the organization while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across Alberta’s liquor, gaming, and cannabis sectors.Key Responsibilities

• Lead short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Oversee bank reconciliation and cash transactions and ensure robust internal controls.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions to optimize banking services and costs.
• Direct strategies to improve accounts receivable metrics and reduce delinquent payments.
• Champion process improvements and innovative payment solutions.
• Ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations, internal policies, IFRS, PCI standards, and provincial legislation (e.g.,UPPVPA)Lead, coach, and mentor treasury teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
• Collaborate across departments to support strategic financial planning and operational excellence.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• A degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A professional accounting designation (CPA) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).

• Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in cash management and treasury operations.
• Strong analytical skills, knowledge of treasury management practices, financial risk mitigation, and PCI compliance.
• Proven leadership in managing teams, driving innovation, and implementing change.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with financial institutions and understanding of credit risk evaluation.
• Resilient under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP is an asset.
