We are currently seeking a Master Data Accountant to support Master Data in the Operations Accounting Department. Reporting to the Supervisor, Master Data and Joint Venture Accounting, the successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment. The ability to identify, follow through, and resolve issues with good communication skills and a strong attention to detail are of utmost importance.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, support, and maintain WBS’s in SAP
- Work with the field to coordinate, maintain, and update SAP allocations
- Conduct month end processes including allocations, overhead, and cutback
- Examine and maintain Business Partners and EFT in the system
- Perform ongoing reviews and maintenance of Joint Ventures and JV partners
- Support the cost centers in SAP, ensuring regular reviews and maintenance
- Assist with NOA’s, amalgamations, and A&D activity
- Liase with other departments to troubleshoot problems as required
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:
- The successful candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field and have 5 years of oil and gas experience and 5 years of SAP master data experience
- Excellent understanding of operations and Joint Venture accounting
- Superior Excel skills with the ability to manage and coordinate large volumes of data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across various levels of the organization
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing demands and multiple deadlines
