Job description: Job Description:Our client in Calgary is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Master Data Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining master data records, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or Oracle.   • Support Master Data maintenance by creating and editing customer/vendor records and verifying banking changes.
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly reports and financial reporting changes as needed.
  • Maintain inboxes and assist with ad-hoc inquiries related to master data.
  • Assist with updating System Approval limits in accordance with company policies.
  • Complete ad-hoc project and reporting tasks as assigned.

Requirements:Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Master Data Accountant or similar position.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Oracle is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate working relationships with multiple departments.
  • Ability to complete tasks and responsibilities within established deadlines.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail in all aspects of work.
  • Available to start immediately.
