• Conduct research and analysis to identify suitable materials for specific applications
• Develop and test prototypes to assess material performance and durability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop material selection criteria and standards
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate material properties and behavior
• Improve manufacturing processes to optimize material usage, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Perform failure analysis to determine the root cause of material-related issues and implement corrective actions
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in materials science and technology to drive innovation and improvement in our materials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in materials engineering, preferably in the [specific industry]
• Proficient in materials testing and characterization techniques
• Strong knowledge of material properties, behavior, and performance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Expected salary: $6500 per month
