Job description: Objective:
Plan and estimate all aspects of fabrication.Principal Duties:

Responsibilities:
This position requires independent planning and ensuring accuracy in meeting customer and specification requirements. The individual must ensure all quality, manufacturing, and configuration control standards are met, and that quotes and estimates fully encompass all manufacturing and inspection costs and requirements.Health & Safety:
The employee is responsible for working safely, following legislated safety standards and the companys safe work practices and procedures. Additionally, the employee should ensure the workplace remains safe by notifying management of potential hazards and suggesting improvements.Job Working Conditions:
General office environment, with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and heat when supporting shop floor activities.Physical/Mental Effort:
This role requires mental focus and concentration, significant use of memory, and the ability to analyze and plan work. Minimal physical effort is required, with infrequent walking and lifting.Skills Required:
A Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer in this role must be proficient in using computers and associated software (e.g., estimating programs) as well as the MRP system to carry out the listed objectives. The ability to read, understand, and accurately interpret technical documents is essential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate detailed information clearly through work instructions and oral communication with the workforce are also necessary.Education/Experience:

Ongoing informal observation and assessment of work performance provide continuing evidence of skills and proficiency.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
