You’ll be accountable for developing business that leads to key wins in the contract healthcare furniture industry.What You Will Be Doing:You will stay abreast on healthcare trends and identify opportunities to apply our research and insights to help customers solve problems. You will develop deep business relationships with dealers’ healthcare customers and key influencers to secure product specifications and close profitable sales.A critical component of this role is managing through distribution and longer, complex selling cycles. You will act as designated design, technical or learning product expert as needed, and act as a coach/mentor for others to ensure market/account plans are executed and business is secured.Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Design, Sales, Business, Real Estate, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of sales experience selling to healthcare clients or the A&D community.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Broad and comprehensive knowledge of the furniture industry, Steelcase business/sales philosophy is a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of healthcare products.
  • Broad understanding of the healthcare sector, large healthcare capital projects and navigating decision makers.
  • Current knowledge of the processes and key issues common to all businesses with emphasis on learning facilities and spaces.
  • Evaluate vertical markets, and develop, communicate, and manage a continuous national strategy.
  • Stellar interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and cultivate strong relationships.
  • Refined and proven organizational and time management skills.
