Job description: Note: This position does not offer visa sponsorship and it’s a hybrid roleJob Description:One of our clients is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our network systems.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other systems.
  • Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades, including firmware and software updates.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of our network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Ober 5 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Proficiency with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
